Meet Molly & Truman!

Our Special Visitors

Molly has been bred to be a therapy dog. She is an Irish Doodle which means that she is hypoallergenic (absent of shedding) and hospital ready — she’s currently in training and has visited us many times to participate in therapy sessions with our patients.

Molly provides comfort and affection for many of our kids during their stay with us and they always love getting the chance to see her. This is just one more therapy method that we’ve recently added to the growing list of specialty therapies that we currently offer.

Truman the therapy dog We’ve also added another friendly dog to our team named Truman, a Boston Terrier.

It takes patience, dedication, hard work and lots of practice to become a pet therapy team. Over the past year, Truman has been hard at work passing his classes to become a fully trained therapy dog. He has passed puppy basic and finished puppy intermediate training at the end of 2019. This year he hopes to become fully certified.
